The necklace has a copper hook clasp made from a single piece of pure copper wire that is hammered for strength. The hook clasp, often called a shepherd’s hook clasp because of its curved shape is closed by inserting the hook tip through the adjoining ring. The friction of the hook clasp can be tightened with a squeeze for a more secure closure.
