Sometimes after all the work is done the Celtic Copper Elves stay for another cup of tea. We take out the vintage cut gemstones and open the boxes of hand-made copper beads from when we used to order direct from Jaipur. The Elves enjoy sifting through the shapes and sizes of vivid gems and lining them up in the most pleasing ways possible.

In the end most of the beads get put back in the box unless an irresistible pattern is created. Then it is kept and strung into a necklace with a miniature 49-strand steel cable. This kind of stringing thread gives the necklace the softest drape and maximum durability. A special clasp is chosen to finish the evening’s inspiration.
